ІГРÐ�ШКИ ДЛЯ ДІТЕЙ – Благодійна Допомога УПЦ СШÐ� роздаєтьÑ�Ñ� дітÑ�м зруйнованих районів України

In one of the Ukrainian songs there is a short phrase "Do you remember?" So, do you remember how during CHRISTMAS season we collected children's toys and shipped them to UKRAINE?

Well, they have reached Ukraine’s Eastern part (torn by the military aggression of the Russian military) and presently distributed to the children and families in need in towns and villages that are controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy – the Spiritual Father of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine personally received dozens of boxes of toys and took them on a journey to the destroyed and devasted cities of Irpin and Bucha. There, with the help of active clergy of the area, the Metropolitan distributed the toys to surviving children of the most horrific humanitarian war disaster of the XXI century.

At the same time, over 30 boxes of toys arrived to the devasted areas of the destroyed city of Mariupol and Donbas region of the Eastern Ukraine. In that particular location, His Eminence Metropolitan Serhiy of Mariupol and Donbas Eparchy of the OCU, assisted by his clergy and volunteers, distributed the toys to the children of the wounded soldiers and families of the area that lost every physical possession they had prior to the beginning of the war.

Moreover, due to the generosity of the parishes of the UOC of the USA and in cooperation with the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the toys for children are distributed in various locations of Charitable Soup Kitchens, where the Church is able to provide assistance to those in need.

The national Spiritual Center – Metropolia continues to coordinate financial donations and their distributions via various ministries in Ukraine. Having collected over 2.1 million dollars, the UOC of the USA continues to finance logistical medical and food deliveries in various parts of Ukraine.
