Beloved Clergy and Faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA and Diaspora,

With heartfelt gratitude to Almighty God, I am pleased to share good news regarding our beloved spiritual father, His Eminence Metropolitan Antony. Following his recent heart surgery, the procedure was successfully completed, and through the grace of our Lord and the intercessions of the Most Holy Theotokos, our Metropolitan has now been discharged from the hospital and has returned to his home. He continues his recovery process under the attentive care of his physicians.

We thank the Lord for His healing mercy and the skill granted to the medical team who served our hierarch with dedication. Yet, as the journey toward full health continues, I humbly ask each of you - our clergy and faithful - to remain steadfast in your prayers for Metropolitan Antony’s complete restoration. Let us lift him up before the throne of God daily, asking that the Divine Physician strengthen his body, comfort his spirit, and grant him many more years of archpastoral service to Christ’s Holy Church.

In moments such as these, we are reminded of the Apostle Paul’s words: “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2). Your love, messages, and prayers are a living testimony of the unity we share as the Body of Christ. May this unity continue to be the source of encouragement for our Metropolitan and a witness of our faith to the world.

Звернення Архієпископа Даниїла щодо подальшого одужання Митрополита Антонія

Дорогі у Христі духовенство і вірні Української Православної Церкви США та Діаспори!

З глибокою вдячністю Всемогутньому Богові радію можливості поділитися благословенною новиною про нашого улюбленого духовного отця  - Високопреосвященнішого Митрополита Антонія. Після нещодавно проведеної операції на серці, яка завершилася успішно, з ласки Господньої та за молитвами Пресвятої Владичиці нашої Богородиці, наш Митрополит був виписаний із лікарні та повернувся додому. Він продовжує свій процес одужання під уважним наглядом лікарів.

Дякуємо Господу за Його милість зцілення та за вміння, яким Він благословив медичну команду, що з відданістю служила нашому архієрею. Однак шлях до повного відновлення ще триває, тож смиренно прошу всіх вас – духовенство та вірних - залишатися непохитними у молитвах за повне одужання Митрополита Антонія.

Молімось разом, щоб Божественний Лікар укріпив його тіло, утішив його дух та дарував йому ще багато років архіпастирського служіння Святій Церкві Христовій.

У такі хвилини ми особливо згадуємо слова апостола Павла: «Носіть тягарі один одного, і так виконаєте закон Христів» (Гал. 6:2). Ваша любов, послання та молитви - це живе свідчення єдності, якою ми об’єднані як Тіло Христове. Нехай ця єдність і надалі буде джерелом підтримки для нашого Митрополита та свідченням нашої віри перед світом.
