With the blessing of His Eminence Antony, the Prime Hierarch of the Church and Archbishop Daniel, the initiative has brought solace and support to those affected by the ongoing challenges in the region.

Amidst the backdrop of war and displacement, over 5,000 Pascha/Easter baskets and essential food items have been distributed, symbolizing not just sustenance but also the renewal of hope and faith. Additionally, frontline defenders of Ukraine have received petitions for vital supplies like water and soda, highlighting the commitment to addressing immediate needs in the midst of adversity.

Integral to this outreach is the logistical and medical assistance provided, underscoring the holistic approach adopted by the UOC of the USA in serving the community. However, beyond material aid, Archbishop Daniel draws attention to a deeper meaning encapsulated in the word "JOY" – an acronym for “Jesus, Others, You”. This profound message emphasizes Christ's love and sacrifice, urging believers to emulate His example by prioritizing service to others and demonstrating genuine care for their needs.
