ORE provides materials and links on this website for use in the parish, and encourages the use of curriculum provided by the Orthodox Christian Education Commission (OCEC), as well as materials provided by the various canonical Orthodox jurisdictions enumerated in the Orthodox Christian Educational Resources section.  The ORE has identified a formal church school curriculum for use during the academic year and has begun reviewing a series of video presentations for future inclusion.

* Adult Catechism and Catechism program
Ever had difficult questions about our Faith that you have not been able to find anywhere else?   Although completed for years, the ORE has not been able to publish a catechism that provides hundreds of answers to hard-cutting questions due to a lack of funds.  It can be used for a seven year catechism program covering all aspects of the Orthodox Faith (there are 10 and 14 year plans as well depending on length of class time for a given parish).  You alone can make this happen, as funds specifically designated for this purpose would be needed.   For the Consistory or Seminary to publish it would require approximately $5000.   If you have every wondered why the Church teaches what it teaches, or have ever wanted definitive answers to difficult questions, this Catechism will do it.  Please contribute!  Send a check to the Consistory with the specific designation "for ORE Catechism."
