The Consistory Office of Missions and Parish Development has been established to initiate, promote and develop:

• parish growth, parish outreach, and the establishment of new parish communities
• charitable ministry within the parish church and local community

Missions: The Office of Missions and Parish Development has coordinated efforts in establishing and supporting new mission communities such as St. Nicholas' in Charlottesville, Virginia; and Four Evangelists in Bel Air, Maryland. Also, the office is available in assisting with the rejuvenation of declining parish communities where the potential for growth and desire for rejuvenation exists.
